In 2017 we learned that LifeSource was a beneficiary of the Trust of Vern Jackson and Kathleen Hallinan. Their generosity continues through this significant legacy gift.
Vern Jackson received a single lung transplant in 2007. Vern and his wife Kathleen were an amazing duo as they shared Vern’s story and the life-saving message of donation throughout the Twin Cities area. Kathleen and Vern gave countless hours to LifeSource, especially during our “State Fair Booth” years and were always ready to go at a moment’s notice with their trademark energy.
Donor families spread awareness of donation and celebrated the life of their loved one by hosting fundraising events in their communities. Examples of the creativity of our donor families include:
Proceeds from events like these support a variety of LifeSource programs of education, awareness and donor family support.
