From Our CEO & Board Chair
There’s strength in continuation. Hope building hope. Community supporting community. Life continuing life.
Throughout our nearly thirty year legacy, we’ve counted on partnerships, large and small, to propel us forward. By saying “Yes, and…” we’re able to build on great ideas and remarkable successes.
Together, LifeSource and our community continue to grow stronger. 2017 was no exception.
Our success is possible because of the selfless gifts from our most important partners: the donors who make new beginnings possible for those awaiting transplantation. Simply put, their generous donation is the inspiration for our work, day in and day out.
We also thank our contributors for their financial and in-kind support of our mission. Every contribution makes it possible for us to reach further, and our community’s commitment to our cause has allowed us to accomplish more than ever before.
As we take a moment to reflect on our successes this year, we rededicate ourselves to the challenge of helping the nearly 3,400 people in the Upper Midwest in need of a lifesaving transplant.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we look forward to continued strength together—with our team, our partners, and our community in 2018.
Joining with a record number of grieving families to steward an inspiring number of donations.
Partnering with the Minnesota DNR to help achieve a new benchmark for the number of adults in our region registered as donors.
Collaborating with individuals from the medical and organ procurement communities at our 2017 Donate Life Symposium, SPARK.
Board of Directors
LifeSource is governed by a board of directors comprised of medical professionals, transplant recipients, donor family members and community representatives.
